Spring Dirt

We were able to squeeze in a ride out on Syncline for one of the first "spring" rides of the year. The trails were clear up to about 1800' then there was a nice packed layer of snow. Corndog made friends with a local dog who hung with us until we went into the trees.
There was quite a bit of snow at the top, but it was firm and tacky. It was more grippy than the greasy mud on the trails. Coyote Creek trail is full of rocks. Most of them are more than willing to smack against your bike and they're really good at it.

Nice sandals, Charlie. Now that you're +40 you can rock them with black socks and immense pride.

P.S. I am completely addicted to your coffee and I think you're a genius.
